The Lancet Group, one of the world's highest-impact academic journals. By prioritizing clarity, accessibility, and ease of use, the design streamlines the flow of critical health information, ensuring users can navigate through complex data effortlessly. The goal is to create an intuitive interface that supports informed decision-making, with a clean, user-friendly design that fosters trust and improves overall user satisfaction in the healthcare space.
Article Page Redesign
I led the redesign of The Lancet article page by grounding the process in user research and data-driven insights. I began by conducting user interviews to understand how readers interacted with the existing page, identifying pain points and opportunities. Using card sorting exercises, I gained clarity on content prioritization and user expectations. I then presented A/B concept designs and analyzed heatmaps and interview feedback to guide design decisions. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including the project manager, developers, and fellow UX designers—I iterated the design through multiple rounds to align with both user needs and business requirements. The result was a more intuitive, engaging article experience that better supports research consumption and reader retention.
